Hi Andy/Simone, What a coincidence - we have chosen the exact same tile for the exact same wall in the Kitchen alcove. Great to see that someone else has chosen it and its nice to be able to see it before our place is done. Your interior seems to be coming along quickly.
Wow, looks like we both have good taste....
The tiles look great in the flesh. Should be completed tomorrow. Grouting and final laying.
Tip: The tile skirts look great and recommended by the tiler & supervisor. Other than the look, the tile skirts will protect the wall from any accidental water damage. MDF skirts will expand if exposed to water for prolonged time.
Love those little tiles. How great for you T&L to see them beforehand! Andy, are you having a glass s/back on the other wall if so, what colour?
Re the tile skirts - is this not standard? We have our color selection appt this Thursday.
Yes we are having a glass splashback on the kitchen wall, same colour as the rumpus room wall, liberte blue...very earthy & calming colours...
Tile skirting is NOT standard. I highly recommend it. Looks much better and in the case of a water accident, the tile skirting will protect your walls, compared to the MDF skirtings.
Love that Liberte, so nice. Are the tiles in the laundry and two showers the standard white tile. Think I've picked the same but in cream. Going back to NT to make some changes now that I've been able to sleep on it!
